The 4 F's of Atrial Fibrillation (AFib) Webinar and Audiocast Series

Atrial fibrillation, or AFib, is the most common type of irregular heartbeat, . The abnormal firing of electrical impulses causes part of the heart to quiver, or fibrillate, often leading to complications and up to a fivefold increased risk of stroke. To help ensure all patients with AFib receive guideline-recommended care, the 91ÊÓÆµ launched an initiative to educate and engage clinicians in AFib care. The 4Fs of AFib initiative is focused on four patient and clinician concerns impeding guideline-directed anticoagulant therapy, fear of bleeding, falls, frailty and forgetfulness.
